Support Viral Wise and ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn about social media.
Equal Access Fund
Some groups—especially youth clubs and community centres—often cannot afford to pay for educational services like Viral Wise. This contributes to educational inequality, a persistent issue in Ireland.
Educational inequalities are particularly problematic when it comes to social media. Research has shown that people in poorer communities have more negative experiences with social media.
At Viral Wise, we believe in equal educational access for everyone. Our Equal Access Fund makes that possible.
How does it work?
Your donations are pooled into the Equal Access Fund. This money enables Viral Wise to run free workshops and events each week for groups that wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford them.
Where does your money go?
A Viral Wise workshop can cost anywhere from €60 to €100 to facilitate. Costs include the facilitator’s wages, travel expenses, materials, posters and more. Your donations help Viral Wise to cover these expenses.
Once a month, we publish an Equal Access Fund Transparency Report, which explains exactly how your donations have been used and the impact they have had.
